Training Programs

Volleyball is generally considered one of the most popular sports in the world, with an estimated 100 million players.  With that being said, for volleyball athletes to perform optimally on the court, their level of conditioning must be outstanding.  Because of the length the games take, it’s sometimes the athletes are sometimes treated as if they play an aerobic based sports, but when the volleyball athlete jumps up for a block, or jumps for a spike those movements are Anaerobic.  The sport requires the use of this anaerobic system because of the reliance on explosive jumping, fast lateral movements, and directional changes.  For this reason, the demands of volleyball require that each athlete participate in a planned performance program to improve the Volleyball specific Conditioning. 

 

The best part of the Sky High Jump Training Program is that it runs 48 weeks of the year as listed below.

 Group based training program conducted by Robert L. Brown who works with small group (Maximum of six athletes).

 45 Minutes Movement 

  • Proper warm up
  • Lateral Speed and Agility work
  • Reactive (plyometiric) work
  • Conditioning

45 Minutes Strength Training

  • Explosive Power Development
  • Lower Extremity Strength Development
  • Upper Extremity Strength Development
  • Proper Core Strengthening


Training Times:
  1. 5:00 - 6:30
  2. 5:45 - 7:15
  3. 6:30 - 8:00
  4. 7:15 - 8:45

Saturday Training Times:

  1. 10:00 - 11:30
  2. 10:45 - 12:15
  3. 11:30 - 1:00
  4. 12:15 - 1:45

Training Days:

  1. Mon, Wed, and Fri
  2. Tues, Thurs, and Sat

Cost: $649.00 per quarter

Maximum in Program: 36 athletes
